After registering with Trendo, you must complete identity verification (KYC) to use financial services without restrictions, improve your account security, and withdraw funds.
Identity verification at Trendo is completed entirely online and takes only a few minutes. You can complete this process through the Trendo trading app or the Web App. The identity verification steps are the same in both versions. This article explains the process using the trading app.
Log in to your account.
Select Profile from the app menu.
Before starting identity verification, check your personal information.
Your first and last name must exactly match your identification document.
Enter your information in Latin characters, exactly as shown on your identification document
If there are any discrepancies, correct the information before proceeding.
If you have a Referral Code, you can also enter it in this section.
If your email status is shown in red, verify your email first.
Make sure the registered email address is correct.
Click Continue. (Select this option only once.)
Check your Inbox and, if necessary, your Spam or Junk folder.
Open the email sent by Trendo and click Verify My Email.
Once your email has been successfully verified, its status will turn green, and you can continue with the remaining identity verification steps.
Note: Email verification at Trendo is optional, but verifying your email is strongly recommended. Email verification confirms that your registered email address is correct. All important notifications, including password recovery, withdrawal confirmations, security notifications, and other account-related messages, will be sent to this email address.
At this stage, complete your personal information.
Select your nationality.
Select the type of identification document.
National ID card
Passport
Driver’s license
Other acceptable documents
Upload a clear, complete, and legible image of your identification document.
Enter your document number exactly as shown on your identification document.
After you submit your documents, the identity verification team will review your information as quickly as possible.
Select your country code and enter your mobile phone number without the leading zero (if applicable).
Click Continue.
Enter the verification code sent to you by SMS.
In the final step, enter your residential information.
Complete the following information carefully:
Country
City
Address
Other required information
Note: Your address information must be accurate and complete, as it may be used to send gifts or correspondence when necessary.
After completing the steps above, your identity verification request will be submitted for review.
If you see this message while entering your information, it means identity verification has already been completed at Trendo using this document number.
In this situation, you must log in to your previous account. If you do not have your login details, you can recover your account by following the “Username and Password Recovery” article or contacting Trendo Support.
Identity verification only needs to be completed once.
Submitted documents must be completely clear, legible, and uncropped.
The registered information must exactly match the identification document.
Documents will be reviewed by the identity verification team as quickly as possible.
If your documents are incomplete, the reason for rejection will be communicated to you through the online chat system so that you can correct and resubmit them.
Identity verification is mandatory for withdrawals.
Deposits using cryptocurrencies can be made without identity verification. However, identity verification must be completed to use bank deposits and make withdrawals.
To complete identity verification using a computer, first visit the Trendo website, then select “Login and Registration” to access the Trendo Web App. After logging in to your account, you can complete identity verification by following the steps explained in this article.
